Painting the Vessel
The vessel is painted with an organic paint that has been extracted from the Rocky Mountain Bee Plant (Cleome Serrulata) by boiling and reducing. The paint is carefully applied to the bowl with a fiber brush made from the chewed end of a yucca leaf.
